Being a qualified member of a photographic society means that our work has been assessed and meets the essential strict criteria set within this industry. Members are bound by strict professional and ethical codes of conduct and have access to regular support, learning and sharing of information. It is our belief that all professionals, regardless of which industry they work within, continue to grown and develop and that they are also regulated.

The Guild's very popular and exciting 'Image of the Month' competition involves members submitting images into the sections of their choice. The entries are then assessed by a number of highly experienced Judges who grade them in accordance with international judging criteria, and the higher scoring images are given Bronze, Silver, Gold Awards or maybe even the highly sought after Platinum Bar.
